About the Plan
What is Plan 20·40?
A nonprofit civil association (CODICC A.C., founded in 2016) that goes out to meet 100% of the new generations of its communities and walks with them — from pregnancy and for 25 years — as they build and fulfill their life plan, across five pillars: Youth & Family, Health, Education, Family Economy and Spirituality.
Why is it called 20·40?
Because the plan has an arrival date: in the year 2040, the first generation accompanied since 2017 will be finishing their technical or professional studies. The dot between the 20 and the 40 is the road we are walking.
Where does the Plan work?
In two communities: Cuatro Ciénegas, Coahuila (since 2016) and Colonia Independencia in Monterrey, Nuevo León (since 2022). The model is designed to be replicated in more communities around the world.
What is CODICC?
The Council for the Integral Development of Cuatro Ciénegas, A.C. — the legal entity behind Plan 20·40.

About volunteering
What does it take to volunteer?
Being at least 21 years old, fluency in Spanish and/or English, and living the Plan's values. For groups: one adult chaperone for every 10 underage volunteers, and belonging to a group, alliance or university.
